Ije
Overview
Ije is a logistics platform that offers car rental services. Users can rent cars for a specified duration at their convenience, with the option to hire drivers if needed.
Ije caters to three different user types: Guests, who pay to hire drivers and rent cars; Drivers, who offer their services on the platform; and Hosts, who earn money by listing their cars on the platform.
My task was to design an administration panel tailored to the platform’s unique features. This panel aims to manage operations, organize content, and monitor daily activities, ensuring a seamless experience for all users.

Process
Building on strong foundations
I began with thorough user research to ensure a great user experience and created an information architecture that broke down features into sub-features for effective admin control. I then mapped out user flows, designed wireframes, and refined them into high-fidelity designs.
Breaking down the project
Given Ije's extensive features, I developed a system covering everything by dividing it into three main groups: Fleet Management, User Management, and Activity Management, each tailored to its specific purpose.
Fleet Management:
Under the Hosted Cars feature, admins can monitor and manage all the cars listed on the platform. They can add new cars to the fleet, approve pending listings, and unlist cars from the fleet, either temporarily or permanently.
Cars are displayed in a table with their make, model, host, date listed, and status. Expanding a car shows its description, images, features, trip history, host info, reviews, and disputes.
User Management:
Ije manages users in three distinct ways. The first is the User List, which comprises of all the users ever onboarded on the platform, including their biodata, documents submitted during onboarding, their usage activity, and the roles assigned to them based on their user type.
The second is User Profiles, which categorizes users into the three primary user types and combinations of two, such as Host-Driver - a user who has listed their car on the platform and also wishes to offer driving services.
Lastly, Role Management allows admins to assign specific roles and permissions to various user types and grant specific permissions to admins based on their level of authority.
Activity Management:
This includes all features related to daily user activities on the platform, such as Trips, Disputes, Transactions, Reviews, Notification management, and more.

Outcome
The final outcome of this project was a seamless and intuitive management experience. I successfully transformed a complex solution into a user-friendly platform, increasing performance by 60% and enhancing the overall cohesiveness of Ije.
It was also a significant learning experience, allowing me to learn extensively through research and practice about what it takes to build a robust enterprise solution.
